One of the most important decisions you will ever make in life is in getting to know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.  When you accept Him into your heart, you allow Him to love you, guide you, teach you, help you, heal you and protect you in every area of your life.  He wants to be a Father to you, to give you wisdom and blessings, so you can live the life He wants for you, in success and abundance.  The only thing you have to do is accept the free gift of salvation.  This is what you can do in order to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ:

1.  Realize

Realize and admit that you are a sinner. To sin is to miss the mark and be separated from God. Recognize that you cannot work enough hours to earn God's forgiveness.  He wants you to accept it as His gift to you.

(Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12; Romans 6:23)

2. Believe

Believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that He loves you enough to have died for you.  This is the Good News, that God sent His only son to die so that our sins may forgiven and we can have eternal life.

(John 3:16; Romans 5:8)

3. Repent

Repent of your sins. The word repent means to change your direction in life - away from sin and towards God.  Ask God to forgive you and because of Jesus' death on the Cross, He will. Then, sincerely choose to turn away from sinful thoughts, words and actions.

(1 John 1:1; Acts 3:19)

4. Receive

Receive Jesus into your heart, confess His Lordship over your life and become a child of God.  Open your heart to Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. Accept His love for you and decide to let Him be in charge of your life.

(John 1:12; Romans 10:9-10; Revelation 3:20)

5. Pray this prayer:

     Dear God, I know I am a sinner. Thank you for loving me enough to send Jesus Christ, Your only Son, to die on the cross and pay for my sins. I know He died for me and that He rose from the dead, so that I might also have eternal life in heaven with You. I now ask Jesus Christ to come into my heart and be my personal Lord and Savior. I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and life. I am a new creature in Christ and a child of the Heavenly Father. Thank You for saving me.  In Jesus' name. Amen. 

6. Next Steps

Romans 10:13 promises that, "Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved", so believe that you are now saved.  You are clean and new to Him and your sinful past is gone forever. (2 Corinthians 5:17)  To put your faith in action, here is what you can do:

• Get to know Jesus Christ by reading your Bible every day.  On line Bible (click here)

• Worship, fellowship and serve in a Bible-believing church. Service times (click here)
• Tell others what Jesus has done for you.
